Motivation Monday: Quiet Places

Good Morning Gorgeous,

I know I usually have a pretty picture and some motivation for you monday mornings, but today's a little different.
Today I have a crappy instagram photo and a word on when life gets to be too much.

Lately, I've been a little overwhelmed. I realized I wasn't happy with how parts of my life were going. I decided I needed some time to clear my head and start over.  This weekend, I'll be headed to Michigan's Upper Peninsula for a camping trip with my boyfriend and favorite aunt and uncle.

Heading out into the woods is a great way to put yourself back together. If you don't believe me, good images "paradise, mi" or "lake on the clouds, mi" or wait for a photo post next week! How can you not feel grounded, happy, and wonderful in these places?

What do you do when you need a complete "reset"?

  1. I totally get the reset. This is why everyone needs a vacation! good for you.

  2. I take a day off of work and walk along the beach in the morning. This walk only qualifies as a "reset" if I am doing it at a time when I should be at work.

    1. Oh I agree, there's something about not doing what you should that helps with the relaxing!

  3. I have been on "reset" for the last six months. My husband and I moved to Hawaii after he accepted a job here and I have had the incredible opportunity to start a lot of things from scratch and re-ground myself. It has been an invaluable experience.

  5. Good for you! We take off for the mountains at the end of this month. I can't wait. It's the one place I forget about everything ... and just relax. The woods are a wonderful place!
