Puppy Proofing Made Simple

So you all know how much I love sharing what I've learned through trial and error in short, simple tips. As we're going into our second round of fostering puppies, (remember these guys?) I've gathered what we learned from the first litter (and Dozer) in another "Just Five".

Why I've Been So Busy and Cute Puppy Pictures

You may be wondering where I've been lately. Or maybe not. I hope you were. Well I have something tiring and time consuming and really really cute to share with you. Actually, three somethings. 

Meet my temporary house guests: 

They're all eight weeks old, unknown breed, and for adoption in Michigan.

This is Lester. He's cuddly. He'd rather sit on your lap than play with the other pups, but he's going to be big! 

Well, It's not Wednesday: Dozer, Dogs, and Adopting

As you may have noticed, today is not wednesday. Furthermore, Wellness Wednesday was not yesterday. Fear not, wellness wednesday is on thursday this week. Yesterday was the first day Dozer came home after visiting my parents while Anthony and I went backpacking, and having a minor surgery. Dozer had  a small bump (smaller than a time) removed, but now has 23 staples on his side. He is healing just fine, and is only sad that he can't play with his puppy friends (he has tons) until his staples are removed. 

To brighten his spirits a little, this weeks Wellness Wednesday Thursday we're talking about adoption.

Meet Dozer

If you've been following along for awhile, you've seen him around. He's a Doberdore (Doberman/labrador hybrid) that loves long walks on the trails, midnight trips to the beach, farmers market cookies, and his mommy (aw!).

  Today he's here to help introduce a mini series of Hiking nonsense.

You may have noticed the blog name, and wondered when it would come into play. 
This series will showcase a couple packs (One of which being Dozer's very own!) You'll also get a peek into our suitcases, packs, cars, and see what we bring on every kind of adventure. 
-Backpacking, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Camping, Kayaking, to the Beach, etc-  

As a special treat, Backpacks and Belly Button Rings will have a few appearances from these guys.
